for the past few weeks, ted dibiase jr. has been distracting cody rhodes and hardcore holly and kept reminding us about his tag team title challenge at the night of champions ppv. but the question still remains, who will be his tag partner. i know for a fact that it cant be his father, the million dollar man, ted dibiase cause he hasn't been active for quite a while now and he could be ring rust plus i don't think he would risk his health now that he is in his mid 50's. sure he still look good but the chances of him wrestling again is very slim.
number one on my list would be cody rhodes. yes, people u saw it right, cody rhodes. i know it wont make any sense but actually it does. for the past few weeks, u can see the relationship between cody rhodes and hardcore holly getting more apart and they have argued a bit recently and it this keeps up, cody rhodes might just had enough of everything and decided to quit teaming up with hardcore holly. also, i read somewhere that the wwe writer are planing to create a second generation superstar faction that could involve cody rhodes and ted dibiase jr. if what i read was true, we could see a heel turn for cody rhodes.
next up would be joe hennig. sounds familiar? yes cause he is the son of the late great 'mr perfect', curt hennig. he just signed a development deal with the wwe and could continue his fathers legacy. there was a clip on youtube that shows joe hennig and ted dibiase jr. teaming up together for a wrestling event. these two have chemistry and would work together as a great team as two second generation superstar.
anyone who has other ideas just simply make a comment and any good suggestion will be posted with full credit given to you of course.

JOHN CENA VS. TRIPLE H FOR THE NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS PPV......SAME OLD MATCH.......
sorry about the lack of posts on my blog last week. i was too busy traveling to peru that i could not post any update. plus the connection there is bad and it took me forever to find a good connection. i truly recommend anyone to travel 2 peru cause the place is exotic and very mysterious. anyway, enough about my trip to peru and lets start talking about the the main event for the night of champions ppv.
if u are someone like me who often look for new challenges, u would agree with me that the triple h vs. john cena rivalry have been going on for months now. it would be better if triple h fought against jeff hardy or better yet, jbl.
people would argue with me, why jbl? firstly, jbl is to me one of the biggest heel in the industry and in any great rivalry, u need a heel and a face. so, with this being said, jbl and triple h could end up being a rivalry for the ages. secondly, his wrestling style is more of a punisher; someone who demolish their opponent with aggressive punches and elbows to weaken their opponent and finally getting the kill. his style is somewhat similar to triple h but only less forgiving. he is able to strike fear in an opponent and use moves without mercy. who would want to see triple h get beaten up like a puppy except for jbl himself. thirdly, as he is the wrestling god, this rivalry would elevate jbl to a higher status so he could become the top heel in the company right behind edge of course.
if u don't like the idea of jbl winning the title, jeff hardy would be another good option. sure, he is a face and two faces cant work in a rivalry but the two different wrestling style could totally make up their lack in the rivalry department. 2 wrestler with very different wrestling style is just a joy to watch. also, who wouldn't want jeff hardy to finally win the wwe champion. he has worked much harder than anyone else and he totally deserved the title. if jeff hardy won, he would out shadow anyone he beat for the wwe champion thus making triple h not a loser if he lose the title.
i hope that the wwe realize that the people wanted something different and new every single month. and now that the wwe draft is getting nearer, i hope top wwe superstars will be traded so they can offer a new challenge for the wwe and world heavyweight title.

THE WWE DRAFT..........A NEW HOPE FOR JOBBERS?
ever since the wwe draft was introduced, a lot of superstars shined after the are traded to another brand. shelton benjamin quickly rose to fame when he move to raw 2 years ago and his first rivalry pitted him against triple h. he is just one of the example of wrestlers who made it big after their trade.
as u all know, this years trade will be on the 23rd of june meaning in 4 weeks time. so, today i will be discussing about wrestlers who should be traded so they can get a chance a shine. these wrestlers are those who are underused and dont get 2 wrestle every week. so, in short, they are jobbers for example, cryme tyme and snitsky.
topping the list would be carlito. he is often placed with a wrong angle/rivalry. he failed teaming up with santino and he deserved be in smackdown or ecw cause his presence will benefit both brands. he is good on the mic and can be a top heel for both of the brands. his wrestling skills is good and if he is traded, he needs a good rivalry to elevate his status in the wwe.
next up would be elijah burke. he is a carbon copy of carlito; good on the mic, has a good wrestling arsenal and have amazing charisma but he is not used properly. he is often not booked to wrestle in ecw and yet he could be a top ecw heel wrestler. he would be outstanding for raw as they need someone to fight for the intercon title. also, he would perfect teaming up with jbl. as they both are cocky and have similar wrestling styles.
i will keep posting blogs about this topic later on. so, keep reading and hope that wwe read this and consider these plans.

REGAL......SHOT HIMSELF IN THE LEG?
as u all know, william regal lost 2 kennedy on raw this week resulting in him getting 'fired'. butt not everyone knew the real reason he got 'fired'. if u notice, i use quotation 4 the word fired cause the real reason he was fired was because he violated the wwe's drugs policy. which means that he used illegal substance such as steroids and morphine. because of his stupid mistake, he is suspended for 2 months/60 days.
my only critic is why shot yourself in the leg. he just won king of the ring and he is doing a great job by becoming a villainous gm for raw. he is now in a position higher than he has ever been in his wrestling career and why throw all that away for drugs. he has worked extremely hard but came crashing down in a single short moment. it makes me sad 2 see a good wrestler who is often overlooked doing such a stupid mistake.
whatever happens after this, i will still support him and hope he get a chance to prove himself after the suspension. hope he come back and not do anymore stupid mistake since this is his second suspension. i hope he remembers that three strikes, he's out.

JUDGMENT DAY RESULTS.....UNDERTAKER GOT SCREWED????
i just saw judgment day and there are some things i disapprove. like the world heavyweight champion incident. undertaker won the match in not the most impressive way, a count out but was still denied of the world heavyweight title. the rules state that a title cannot change hand if u win by count out but since the title was vacant, the winner of the match should be champion. somehow, vickie g was able to find a loophole to deny undertaker the title which leaves the title still vacant. i thought that the undertaker deserved 2 win the title and denying him the title was wrong. but surely wwe would come up with a brilliant angle for the rivalry after this.
another thing i hate was the fact that john cena won after he was completely 'destroyed' by jbl. i thought that the victory was a fluke and jbl should have won instead. cena like to be bullied but in the end, somehow (everything is scripted for him 2 win) he is able 2 do his 'cena combination' and pick up the victory. in this case, he won by countering the clothesline and hitting the f-u. so, once again cena won luckily.
quick results......
john cena (boo) def. jbl via the f-u
miz & john morrison def. kane & cm punk via the moonlight drive
shawn michaels def. jericho via roll up pin after countering the walls of jericho (still champion)
mickie james def. beth phoenix and melina via kiss of death to melina (still champion)
undertaker def. edge via countout (title is still vacant)
jeff hardy def. mvp via whisper in the wind
triple h def. randy orton via pedigree (still champion)

THE INTERCONTINENTAL & US CHAMPIONSHIP.......SECOND FIDDLE?

unlike the good old wcw (which was by far my favourite promotion), wwe has not used their us & intercon title very often recently. yeah, matt hardy had just won the us champion but how long did it took for the title to change hand. u might say mvp is a good wrestler by beating others to regain the title but he fought with other wrestlers maybe once in 3 months time. this proves that the title has no significant to the wwe wrestlers cause they never challenge the champ not like the wwe champion n the world heavyweight title. think about it, when was the last time anyone challenge the ex us champ mvp, before the matt hardy does.
in the much-loved wcw, the us title is just as important as the heavyweight title. to prove it, the title is challenged on almost every ppv unlike the wwe. and some of the title holders went on to do great things in the biz like booker t and bill goldberg. the title was used as a platform 2 elevate a wrestlers career but still contained the value of gold. the us title now is just second fiddle compared to the world heavyweight champion.
another reason why the us champion was used more often in the wcw is because of the angle/story behind every title match. every us title match has a wonderful rivalry behind it. who can forget the best-of-seven match between chris benoit (rip) and booker t for the us title. the match was phenomenal but the rivalry is just as good. again, when was the last time u remembered any amazing rivalry for the us champion in the wwe?
as for the intercon title, the glory of the intercon title in the attitude era, now seemed like a distant memory. gone are the days where it was just as important as the wwe title itself. now, it is just a plain silverware wrestlers carry around their waist. i dont get the point of giving jericho the title but he is not defending it on a regular basis.
if i am not mistaken, wwe will have the 'night of champions' ppv in july. all i am hoping for is the us & intercon title match on that ppv be made into an amazing match with an awesome rivalry and a great stripulation. might i suggest to make a 4 men or maybe even a 6 men elimination style battle royale match for the titles. if not, make it a ladder match or hell in the cell match 2 make it more enjoyable.
so, i hope the wwe would use both the us and the intercon title more often after this.

THE CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE......WHERE IS IT NOW?

since i wanted 2 make this blog a little bit interesting, i will write things that i wish should have happened instead of what is happening in wwe right now.
firstly, i wish wwe would have used the cruiserweight title more. it should have been contested more often and more actively like other belts. sure, wwe cant compete with the x division which is far more superior, at least give it a try. even thought, it is not wwe's niche, cruiserweights will be given a platform for them 2 show their potential. superstars like super crazy and jamie noble may not be wwe's most famous superstar but when they wrestle, they put in more heart than any other wrestler i know. i have noticed that super crazy is able 2 gain respect by just wrestling one match compared 2 wrestlers than are debuting now like paul burchill and vladmir koslov.
finally, superstars that dont get much airtime like paul london, brian kendrick, charlie haas, nunzio, kenny dykstra, shannon moore and jimmy wang yang will be given great exposure 2 succeed. so, i hope wwe would continue 2 use the cruiserweight title more often.
